The letters seem to be coming daily from Jim's assignment in Guelph Junction.

In this letter, I notice again comments that imply that Jim's health was not all that he wished it was.  He found the physical labor too challenging and he worried that he might lose his job because he couldn't wield an axe for staking.

Notice, too, the way he speaks almost with awe about having oranges for breakfast.  We take them for granted.  But prior to the railroad, they would have been almost impossible to obtain in a place like Guelph, Ontario.

There aren't many letters in Mom's box from 1911.  But there is this little clump of them while Jimmy is on assignment in Guelph Junction.  Here is the next one, from March 31st.
